The Punjab government is launching a free CSS preparation program for minority youths, offering training at the Civil Services Academy (CSA). This program aims to help 15 minority youths, both boys and girls, prepare for the Central Superior Services (CSS) examination. The CSS examination is a competitive exam conducted by the Federal Public Service Commission to recruit civil servants.

In a welcome and revolutionary step, the Punjab Government has launched a special training program for the talented youth belonging to the minority community to prepare for the CSS examinations. Under this initiative, initially 15 minority youth boys and girls will be provided three months special training at the Civil Services Academy Lahore, all the expenses of which will be borne by the Department of Human Rights and Minority Affairs Punjab.
Minister Chairs Key Meeting
The decision was taken at an important meeting chaired by the Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs, Ramesh Singh Arora. The meeting deliberated in detail on ways to promote education, professional development and inclusion of minority youth in state institutions. Terming the programme as “a new beginning,” Ramesh Singh Arora said that this is just the first phase, the programme will be further expanded in the coming phases. So that maximum minority youth can be benefitted.
New Beginning for CSS Training
He said that this program will provide an opportunity to the minority youth to appear in not only the highest competitive examinations but also in the competitive examinations. Rather, they will also be able to play an active role in national development by joining the administrative structure. He said that this step is an important step towards the empowerment and mainstreaming of minorities.
The Minority Affairs Minister expressed special thanks to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for approving this historic and far-reaching initiative for the minorities. He said that this program will not only implement the principle of equality with the minorities. It will also promote national integration, brotherhood and religious harmony.
