Following Asim post, social media users have started speculating that just like his relationship with Merub, his music video also became a target of the evil eye.

This marks Asim Azhar second breakup. As he rose to fame, he fell in love with actress Hania Amir. Their romantic relationship became public and the two never tried to hide it. However, in July 2020, they separated for undisclosed reasons. In 2022, Asim completely moved on from Hania and got engaged to model and actress Merub Ali—who used to be Hania close friend. Unfortunately, Asim relationship with Merub also turned out to be short-lived, as he announced the end of their engagement on June 12.
