The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Malakand officially announced the Matric Result 2025 on Wednesday, July 30. The declaration ceremony took place at the University of Malakand, Chakdara, with students, parents, and education officials in attendance.
Chairman Muhammad Naseem Khan led the event, joined by Dr. Rasheed Ahmad, Vice Chancellor of University of Malakand, and other notable guests. The board made the complete result available online at 2:00 PM via www.bisemalakand.edu.pk. Students can also check results by sending their roll numbers via SMS to 8583.
Girls Outshine Boys in Science and Arts Streams
This year’s results saw an impressive performance from female students in both science and humanities groups.
In the Science Group, Saman Wahab from Hira School and College, Dargai (Malakand), secured the first position with 1169 marks. She was followed by Komal Mehboob Qazi of PIMS School and Girls College, Biari (Dir Lower), who scored 1165 marks to take the second position.

The third position was shared by four students, all scoring 1155 marks:
- Ayesha Siddiqa (Dar-e-Arqam School & College, Thanna Campus, Malakand)
- Abdur Rahman (Government Higher Secondary School, Lal Qilla, Dir Lower)
- Muhsin Kamal (Tameer-i-Wattan Public School & College, Dir Upper)
- Manal Mujahid (The Smart School, Shahkakot Campus)
In the Arts Group, top positions were also secured by female candidates. Huma Hameed, daughter of Abdul Waheed Khan, from Muhsanat Academy, Sangolai (Dir Lower), took first place with 1094 marks.

Second position was jointly held by:
- Sana Saleem, also from Muhsanat Academy, Sangolai
- Hafsa, a private candidate from Bajaur
Both students scored 1093 marks.
The third position went to Asia Bibi, a private candidate from Lower Dir, with 1086 marks.
Community Celebrates Achievements with Patriotic Spirit
The ceremony included speeches that encouraged students to continue their academic journey with resilience and purpose. Officials praised the efforts of both private and public institutions for their role in achieving academic excellence across the region.
University of Malakand was lauded as one of the province’s most affordable and high-quality institutions. The Vice Chancellor announced that this year, admissions will be offered based on first-year marks, allowing more students to apply based on recent performance.
To honour the toppers, the board distributed cash prizes:
- First position: Rs. 100,000
- Second position: Rs. 85,000
- Third position: Rs. 70,000
The ceremony concluded with chants of “Pakistan Zindabad,” reflecting pride in the youth’s achievements and hope for their future role in national progress.
