Pakistan’s Muhammad Yasir Sultan clinched a bronze medal at the Asian Throwing Championships in Mokpo, South Korea with a season-best throw of 77.43m.

The 27-year-old Pakistani javelin thrower delivered his medal-winning performance on his sixth and final attempt on Friday breaking his own season’s record of 76.07m set earlier this year in May.

Yasir’s Medal-Winning Performance

Yasir started the competition with a no-throw followed by a solid 75.79m effort. He then registered two attempts in the 72m range and another foul in his fifth attempt.

It was his final throw of 77.43m that secured him the bronze medal, underlining his ability to handle pressure in crucial moments.
