ISLAMABAD – The Government of the Sultanate of Oman has announced the Omani Scholarship Program 2025–26 inviting applications from Pakistani nationals for fully funded undergraduate studies at selected universities in Oman.
The initiative run under the Omani Program for Cultural and Scientific Cooperation covers a wide range of academic fields including Engineering, Humanities, Information Technology and Sciences with the exception of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy.
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has confirmed that the scholarships aim to strengthen educational and cultural ties between Pakistan and Oman, while giving students access to internationally recognized academic programs in a culturally familiar environment.
Key Benefits for Selected Students
Recipients of the Omani Scholarship Program 2025–26 will receive:
- 100% tuition fee waiver for the full duration of study.
- Monthly stipend of OMR 200 (≈ PKR 144,000) if housing is not provided, or OMR 140 (≈ PKR 100,800) if free housing is included.
- One round-trip air ticket from Pakistan to Oman per academic year.
- Option to apply to up to three universities and two academic majors.

Eligibility Criteria
According to HEC and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation in Oman, applicants must:
- Be Pakistani nationals.
- Have completed Intermediate (FSc/FA/A-Level) or equivalent within the last three years.
- Be 23 years old or younger at the time of application.
- Be medically fit.
- Obtain an Omani Equivalency Certificate from the Ministry of Education in Oman.
Application Process & Deadlines
Students must apply directly to participating universities before their respective deadlines, and also complete the online registration via the Oman Scholarship Portal.
Additionally, applicants are advised to send their details to the Embassy of Pakistan in Muscat at parepmuscat@mofa.gov.pk.

Applicants should prepare the following:
- Valid passport.
- Intermediate or equivalent certificate.
- Omani Equivalency Certificate.
- English language proficiency results (if available).
