Standard Chartered Bank Pakistan has launched a zero-markup instalment plan for Yamaha motorcycles allowing eligible credit card holders to spread payments over 12 months without any additional charges.
Standard Chartered Bank has introduced a 0% markup Yamaha Instalment Plan for its credit card customers in Pakistan. The offer enables buyers to purchase any Yamaha motorcycle model and pay in equal monthly instalments over one year with no processing fees or interest charges.

How Plan Works
Under the scheme, Standard Chartered cardholders can select a Yamaha bike of their choice and divide the total cost into 12 equal instalments. These payments are added directly to the monthly credit card statement.
Key details include:
- Markup: 0% for a maximum of 12 months.
- Processing Fee: None under this plan.
- Eligibility: Available exclusively to active Standard Chartered credit card holders with accounts in good standing.
- Activation: Once approved, the instalment schedule reflects automatically in the monthly bill.
A bank spokesperson confirmed that the plan is part of its Aasan Instalment Program designed to give customers greater flexibility in managing large purchases.
How to Apply
Interested customers can apply by contacting Standard Chartered’s helpline at 021-111-002-002.
Applicants must:
- Hold a valid Standard Chartered credit card.
- Ensure their credit account is current and in good standing.
- Choose their preferred Yamaha model.
Once eligibility is verified, the instalment plan is processed without delay and the purchase is billed under the 0% markup schedule.

Additional Information
While this Yamaha instalment plan is capped at 12 months, Yamaha itself also offers extended financing options of up to 36 months through other channels. However, these longer-tenure plans typically include markup unlike Standard Chartered’s zero-interest option.
Customers should also note:
- Standard bank policies apply for early termination, late payments or changes in tenure.
- The 0% markup plan is a limited-time offer, subject to bank terms and conditions.
Financial experts say the plan could attract young urban commuters and middle-income buyers struggling with rising fuel and transport costs. By spreading payments interest-free, the scheme reduces the upfront burden of buying a motorcycle, a preferred mode of transport in congested Pakistani cities.
Outlook
With motorcycle demand strong in Pakistan due to affordability and convenience, banks and manufacturers are increasingly offering consumer-friendly financing solutions. Standard Chartered’s 0% markup Yamaha plan adds to these options by catering specifically to its credit card base.
Analysts believe similar zero-markup instalment schemes could expand further into the auto and electronics sectors offering consumers more flexibility amid inflationary pressures.
